As of now, most of the reviewers of the Smartwatches have no idea whatsoever how to use them, but content themselves with reviewing them. But I can confidently say that I am sharing this review after personally using the watch for four to five months. I will talk about this in three parts: Design, Usability, and Experience. First, I will talk about the design. I have reviewed many smartwatches, and more or less, most of them are quite similar.

I have reviewed many smartwatches before, and honestly, most of them look quite similar. But when it comes to design, I feel Layers has managed to beat almost every brand in this price segment. I’m not comparing it with Apple, of course, but with any smartwatch under $57 (₹5,000) — especially non-circular ones. Design is subjective, however, every time I have presented this watch to someone they are always struck instantly by: “This is not an ordinary smartwatch, it is a Layers smartwatch!” It really does stand out that uniqueness.

Again, many reviewers and even some big YouTubers and celebrities have given this watch a full 10/10 rating in terms of usability. Personally, I don’t believe in giving a perfect 10, But I can say that I am sharing this review with you after using this watch for four to five months. Nevertheless, it is not biased to rate it with a perfect 10 out of 10, in fact, I would rate 9 out of 10.
The smartwatch was initially released with a magnetic strap. While it looked stylish, it wasn’t very practical — the strap could come loose and the watch might fall off easily. Because of that, many users faced problems. But in the newer version, Layers replaced it with a high-quality silicone strap. Not only does it look nice, but it is also much more durable and secure. This change has solved the earlier issue completely.

Honestly speaking, earlier there was another big problem, which was with the charger. When placing the smartwatch on the magnetic charger, it wasn’t strong enough, so with just a little movement it could easily get disconnected. However, this issue has now been solved.
If you are a professional runner, an athlete, or someone who wants to track health statistics very closely, then this smartwatch is not for you. But if you are a regular person like me who goes to the gym once or twice a week, then this smartwatch is perfect for you. There won’t be any problems, because most of the time you’ll be at home, checking your step counter and monitoring your heartbeat.

This is the overall feel of the Smartwatch features. However, I can’t deny that once you wear it, you will definitely feel that, yes, you are wearing something on your wrist.
But it must be admitted that Layers immediately fixed the hardware, strap, or charger issues as soon as they received complaints from users.
